Play Around the World
In May 2019, our family had a trip planned to Mexico. For months, we were all looking forward to going and spending time with our cousins and family. Because of the rise of Covid, our trip was cancelled a week before we were planning on leaving. I was determined to still "visit" Mexico, just in a different way. We hopped aboard a homemade airplane at home, watched educational videos on the flight, ate a few snacks and spent a day crafting and learning about Mexico. We ate Mexican food and churros for dinner, had a movie night themed around Mexico, and made sure to get our DIY passports stamped at the end of the day. My kids loved it so much, it led to "visiting" other countries throughout the year as well.
Now that we are homeschooling, I would create these "Play Packs" much differently. However, there are still good resources inside and I'm a big believer in sharing information. If someone has already put in the time and effort, it makes sense to save another person their time. At some point, I would love to update each file and make them into more similar formats. For those that purchased these, I will give you the updated versions for free if you would still like them. For now, they are all free here on my blog. I hope you enjoy them!

Around the World in 2019 - These were the first four countries we "visited" in 2019 (Mexico, Italy, England, and Peru). They are very simple with basic lesson plans and links.
The next downloads are from 2020 and include much more in depth and have multiple activities included:
